I have a kl200p and the preamp has quit working. I think this problem occurred as the result of lightning during a storm. Of course the truck wasn't hit but I think the lightning was close enough to cause the damage. What components would you suggest be tested first?

I would check wiring and relays first, not actualy knowing that amp.

The amp part is still working it is just the pre-amp that died. I thought maybe someone could tell me what resistors or other components to check. Thanks for the input.

Only reason I said that, its there may be a wiring problem on the recieve amp part and (again) I don't know the amp, some amps I have seen use a seperate relay for the recieve amp, so you may want to check that.
