looking for suggestions on a swr meter for six meters (other than $$$bird). most of the common meters are rated 3 to 30 mhz so how much accuracy would be sacrificed at 50 mhz? Before I spend big bucks for a meter I would rather invest in a MFJ ant analyzer.

As I understand it, most SWR bridges will work up through 2 meters pretty well. So use whatever you use for CB and it should work okay.

As long as you can get the needle to deflect all the way over to the set point on the meter, any CB meter should work fine.

diddin

Most meters will work on 6 ..... the best way to check this is to put a 50 ohm load on the swr bridge put a low power 6 meter signal in it and see if it reads a low SWR.
