Ok help me out guys. Im making a 2 meter j-pole.Ok to start off the main element is 57 3/4inches long and the tuning stub is going to be 19 3/4 inches long .Is this right so far? Ok the main question is the space between the main element and the tuning stub. If im did my math right, the inside measurement between the main element and tuning stub is 2 inches is this correct? Also making this out of 1/2 inch rigid copper pipe. Any help would shur be appreciated. This is my weekend constuction project. HELP And Thanks Hal kc0svc |

Hal, Check out the Link Below as this is the exact same instructions our Ham Club has used for years in building 2 Meter J Pole antennas. We have used the 2 Meter J Pole on the Red Cross building here for several years now with very good results. http://www.alpharubicon.com/elect/jpolejaden.htm Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 N9OSN |
