say Paul,, last time we talked, you said, if the guy point is lower than the wires on a quad,, that was good or acceptable. my ? now is,,the tower is in the field of the antenna...so, how is this going to hinder the performance of this antenna? or does it???????JUST THINKING OUTLOUD!!! "WRK3". |

The tower won't be a problem. Since the criss-cross braces are less than 1/4 wave apart, the tower 'loks' like a solid piece. Having the support structure AND guy wires within the field (all of which would be longer than 1/4 wave) would throw the pattern off and make your SWR unstable with antenna orientation. |
