I have a 60012 x force base amplifier. on the x force web page the claim that you can use a 80b base amplifier to drive the 60012 however when I contacted them they said that you should not exceed 30 watts and they recommend 20. I guess my question is what should I run for wattage into it as to not burn it up?

Dcj3172,

FIRST OFF WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!

As I have never owned or used an X-force amp, I would suggest you go by what they told you when you called them the Recommended 20 Watts and do not exceed the 30 watts.

Sorry I can't be of more help but maybe one of the other Copper Forum members can be of help.
