What is the power output of a D&A RAIDER on 11 meters? What does it key and what will it swing? How much is one that has minor nicks and scratches but does work great WORTH? I have a offer to buy one but I just wanted to know what a fair price is for one. What about the maverick--same questions. thanks ERIC |

Joker2, Sorry, but I cannot find anything except the Schematics for the D&A Raider. As for what one would be worth I would suggest checking e-bay or yahoo auction sites and that can give you a rough idea of what they are going for if any are listed. The same with the Maverick as older Used Radio equipment is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. |

seems like i remember the one i had did about 250-275 watts. but i wasnt running a bird back then i had a blackcat 1000 watt meter. it didnt deadkey much at all under 100 seems like i ran mine around 30-40 dead key and swang around 200. but thats been 20 years or so ago. unless thier in great shape with good tubes id pass them by and buy one of those klv amps they have here on copper that use the el509 tubes. much cheaper to buy tubes for. |

I gave 40.00 for mine.. It will do as Bullett said. Mine will deadkey 50 watts and swing to 200+ or so give or take.. good little amp as itself or a great driver for a big box!!!! |

D&A Raider, erm, if it is like the one a friens of mine had, a couple of decades ago, they use 4 tubes,(6KV6A,or a variation of). His would do about 100 watts, with about 5 watts drive, and would give about 50% forward swing, ( swing is a constant variable, everyone wants more of it, and some meters show more than others). The price, well that is up to you, You do need to consider condition of the tubes that are in the unit, and cost for replacement of tubes, and or modifing the amp for a tube with different heater voltage, to get around tube availabilty issues. 73's and good luck.
