lon, did the out of band mod so i can cover the murs freqs. also can listen to air traffic coming into the airport in town and the weather stations in the 162mhz and listen to the police and firemen. cool mod, but i have only heard one person on the murs freqs and he was extreamly weak as im around 8 miles from town and on a super j pole at 30 some feet. im most likly going to put up a dual band vertical but cant make up my mind witch one yet. diamond has some i like but i also like the mfj palsar i think it was, both come in at around 8.3 db for 2 meters and 11.7 on 440. |
