Does anyone have the tune up specs on this radio ?
Also is there a channel mod ? |

Well I have not seen one but people say the tune up is like the Cobra 25's.
Power ~ Adjust L18, L17, L14
Modulation: VR5
Squelch: ~ VR4
Signal Meter: ~ VR1
RF Meter: ~ VR7
You can find a Diagram / Picture for the Cobra 25LTD, 25NWST, 25WX NW ST, 25LTD ST and 25 WX ST Board with Alignment location's on the internet
If it looks the same as the inside of your PC68 you can give it a try.
BE SURE to mark where ALL of your Setting's are BEFORE trying them so if it does not work you can take them back to the factory setting's.

This worked ! I have a dead key of around7 swinging to around 13 when I talk. If I give a short whistle it swings to around 23 on my watt meter. |

Does anyone know if the internals of the pc68xl and the pc68ltw are that much different inside. or is it just the whole night lite thing that is differnet.
