i picked up a m-80 modulater 2 wire
was wondering if any body knows the insertion points for the connex 4800dxl

Jon666,
Find Resistor ~ R-264
When looking at the radio from the FRONT with the Component Side UP, Unsolder the the RIGHT Leg of R-264 and lift it out of the hole.
DO NOT REMOVE THE BOTH SIDES OF THE RESISTOR!
ONLY THE RIGHT LEG OF R-234 NEED's TO BE LIFTED OUT OF THE HOLE!
Then Solder a 1N4001 Diode to the Right Leg of R-234 with the BANDED END of the 1N4001 Diode Facing DOWN.
Install the leg of the 1N4001 BANDED END DOWN, into the same hole you lifted the RIGHT leg of R-234 out of.
Re-solder it and your set to go.
You can then Lower the dead key and get Full Swing.
