Hi 303... WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE LIGHTED FACE PLATE YET. IF SO.... ANY IDEAS? Mine has gone out. Every thing else still works great. I'm perplexed.............. |

Ice, Yes, one of mine died too. Galaxy will send you one if you want to install yourself (not difficult), or you can send it to them and be without a radio for weeks...It is replaced as a single unit and actually peels off the bezel. |

Just a note to any one else having this problem. Recieved my new lighted face plate. Instaled it with no problems. Works like new.... I noticed that my old one was slightly different from the replacement.The feed line and jumper sent to me , look like they have been up graded. If you have a very early model as damyankee and I .... There's a chance you could be replacing yours also. Not to worry though. Galaxy will fix you up, free of charge. Hope you guys love this radio as much as I do. 73's icepick |
