Hello all..great forum!! I am an FCC licensed technician since 1978. I don't consider myself to be a moron...BUT I have a radio I am at a dead end with. Perhaps someone has a thought or two. Galaxy Melaka 3600-14B chassis. Great RX and perfect TX carrier..no modulation. Voltages are all ok...changed the 4558 chip, shot a signal from the front end..doesn't get lost anywhere!! Shows audio on scope going in and out on the 4558. I can't find any PC cracks..perhaps a shorted cap?? Anyone have any other thoughts?? I realize this isn't a "Big" radio.
