i looked through lots of posts but im trying to confirm some info, do i need to connect any wires or move a jumper in my kl-60 amp before i connect it to the midland? thanks for your help. |

Creepyrat, If you order the KL 60 from Copper it will arrive ready to go / use. Hook up a Coax Jumper between the Radio and your Amplifier and hook your Antenna to the Amplifier. Make Sure! You have the DEAD KEY on the Radio set to 2 or 2 1/2 Watts and it should work very well for you. These Smaller KLV Amplifiers do not take a lot of drive to perform well. And Overdiving them will blow them up QUICK! Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 |
