This week I installed a fiberglass shell on my 04 Ford Ranger, I had a 3-foot Firestik mounted on the bed rail, had good SWR and it talked and listened well, Its going to have to be re-located.
I was thinking about putting it on top of the shell all the way forward in the middle.
Grounding the antenna brackets to the truck frame and try and get a plane off the truck roof and hood. I’m running a Galaxy 95 T 18 feet of Rg-8x
Any Ideas?

Thanks Frank

How would you feel about a front fender mount and a good 5 foot Firestik?

No outside holes to drill.

The 'trunk lip' mount on the edge of a truck hood works very well. Use a top loaded antenna (like the Firestik) for best performance.
