I'm looking to retire my Cobra 2000. At tax time I want to buy a new base. I noticed that the 696 has talkbalk. I hate this. Does this have a switch to shut the talkback off? If not can I add a switch so can shut it off? Tony |

For a CB base, it is one to be destin to be great.. Look at the modification area, and you will see many mods for it.. 696Fmobile and base have the same mods. Alot of stuff the little guy can do himself, which makes it more speciall... |

You are 100% correst. 
One of the Best 40 Channel Bases to come along in a long time with plenty of feature's.
And one on the easiest to add extra channel's to.
The 1st Sargant LOVES her's with her Silver Salute on it and I like it with the DM452 on it.
