i read where the stock mike on delta is actualy a power mike and if you replace it its very hard to get as much mod or clarity..is this true? hk |

Hawk1 Where ever you read that they do not know what they are talking about. The fact is, when set up correctly, the DeltaForce and OmegaForce have more modulation capabilities than any other radio on the market using ANY stock hand-held or noise cancelling mic. And with cleaner audio also. If you own either one of these radios, you also have more features for less money than most of the higher priced 10 Meter radios out there. You have one of the best and most advanced. If your Delta is stock out-of-the-box (other than a frequency conversion) then there is definitely room for more audio and power. If you're not seeing a swing of AT LEAST 36 watts from a deadkey of 1.5 watts, let me know. Jeff, kc0gxz.
