ARE THERE ANY WAY TO HAVE THIS RADIOS CONVERTED OVER TO SOME FREQ. THAT MY BE USEFUL?THEY ARE (8) CHANNEL PROGRAMMABLE, AND OPERATE IN THE FREQ.RANGE 4,120 TO 4,942 THERE NICE UNITS OR SHOULD I JUST E-BAY THEM? I WENT TO NEXTALN PH. |

uhf is not on 4,120 ??????? that must be a misprint the standards i worked with at the city radio shop could be programed from 440-470 and would wotk on gmrs and 440 ham. im not shure if they are leagal for gmrs but i would think they are...... deffently leagal for ham. |

BRUCE I CHECKED THEM ON A SCANNER AND THEY ARE PROGRAMMED TO 467.650 ARE THEY CONVERTABLE OR E-BAY MATERIAL? BOB |

what is the make and model of that radio? we need to know this before we can tell you how easy it will be to find someone to reprogram it and most importantly if it is worth having it programmed. |

THEY ARE STANDARD MODEL# GX 1500U UHF FM LAND MOBILE P.O, RATING 25watts (8) CHANNEL PROGRAMABLE, HAVE (5) OF THEM. LAST YEAR A GUY IN ATLANTA GA. SAID HE COULD PROGRAM THEM FOR $20.00ea. PLUS SHIPPING ONE WAY? |
