When I turn on my Texas Star DX250HDV the receive on my RCI 2950DX seems to go down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Does it go down when you turn on the RX Amp? If so you need to replace the 2 small transistors , there are only two , 2N2907 or 2N3904 should be the numbers. If the numbers are different , still change them. Depending on the build , they change. One is the keying transistor the other is the RX pre-amp..Change them both and let me know. |

It goes down when I turn on the amp. The receive amp doesn't even work. It was working fine up until a few days ago. |

Then thats it , replace BOTH transistors (the small black ones) , It will be fixed..Let me know..These parts can be picked up at Radio Shack...
