im working on a 2527 for a buddy.his lights were thought to be burnt out.after taking the LCD board out to replace the bulbs and change the
color of the lamp covers i found that the two large resisters at r-4 and r-6 were burnt up.
does anyone know the values of these resisters
and anything else i might need to replace before i
try to bring her back up?
thanks alot bullet
p.s the radio still works as it should except the lights on the LCD display.

307,
yes they are on the cpu board # dpt295042z
i tried replacing them with 100 ohm resisters
just to see if it would work but no luck it didnt light up.every thing works as it should but the lights.

the traces and the board on the cpu board around these resisters looks burnt.i had a hell of a time tring to solder in the new resisters there.

is there anything else in this curcuit before or after the resisters that might also be blown or areas i might look at for problems?

i fear that im going to have to replace the hole
cpu board which aint to cheap.
thanks for the help bullet
