I have a D 104 amplified mic. it a older model and there is a switch in the base that says R and F. Is it to change impedance? Thanks 73 ed NOTE! If it has a Switch in it, then someone added it to the D104, I would guess the R is for Roger Beep but no idea wht the F is. Or they could have added it so they could just use the Switch instead of Grabbing the Push to Talk bar as a Lot of people did this to them. Lon Tech808

Dimstar & Lon, No arguement intended just my 1 1/2 cents. I use a D-104 Tup-9 that has a switch to turn off the audio and have moved the volume control to the top of the base. To explain, I am vision impaired and this makes adjusting the volume easier for me to do. The audio switch is used to check frequency without modulation. I hope these coments can add light to the subject. 73"s Iron Mask CEF 100 |

Dimstar, Sorry was thinking of small Toggle switch on Base. If it is inside of the Bottom Base stand , It should be to switch from Relay to Electronic. Your older radio's were Relay Switching before Electronic came into play and this allows you to use it on anything. Hope this clear's it up for you. Lon Tech808 |
