I was just wondering what kind of amp I could pair with my 48t. I'm not looking for a whole lot of power but don't want to melt an amp that is to small. I can set the dead key between 4 watts up to 50 watts either way it will swing to 190-210 watts peak. I usually just run a.m. so i'm not really worried about ssb preformance.
ps i'm using this as a base setup

thing is your going to have to go pretty big because of your drive level. 200watts
or have it turned down.
if it was mine id run a straight 8-2879's or 10 2879's behind her. and id get my variable power going on the radio so i could taylor my drive level down when i wanted or needed to as well! |
