I have to Galaxy's that when you put D77 back in, they try to tx and rx at the same time. With 77 out, rx on the 88 is fine, But no transmit at all. When I put d77 back in, I lose all rx(light stays on) and no transmit cause it is trying to do both. On the 33 it has weak rx audio all the time, when you put 77 back in it tries to tx and rx at the same time also. I have checked TR36, 37, 38 in both radio's. Any ideas? |

you are using the wrong diode if that is the case. i see this all the time(this sat. infact) where it is replaced with a standard switching diode. you must use a kb362. there is also an nte/ecg sub for those, but i can't remember the #. |

Well I wondered about that SS, I got some 5.1v zener diodes. That is what someone told me was the replacement for that or D76 one. I probably got them backwards. Could you find me the correct part #? Thanks |
