It is a high capacity battery or array of batteries with additional circuitry to regulate the voltage. Used to power high current RF devices instead of adding lots of high output alternators to a vehicle. |

I saw a LEESE/NEVILLE alt on a kenworth tractor,1000 amp,will fit GMC jimmy,I've heard they're pricy.Not a motor maul but will do same job 7 high output standard alts.Oh yeah it was bigger than a peck basket,must weigh 100 pounds.Had a 4-groove pulley. |

my 14volt 200amp leeseneville new cost 1100 bucks. so that 200amp motor muals not a bad deal if its tuff enuff to last. |

A guy in Cleve where I used to live had a suburban with 5 lees-nevilles, and a huge ac amp in the back, he had an antenna array with four huge antennas on it, keyed over 10,000 watts!!! |
