I Recently Found A Heathkit Warrior HA 10 1 Kilowatt Base Amp. It Has A Band Switch From 10 to 80 (Meters ?). Can I Run This On 27 MHZ ? Will I Need A Driver Between It And My 2527 ? ( Keys 4 Swings 40 + ) And Last, What Is This Thing Worth In Good Condition ? Thanks In Advance. 8ZERO4 . |

drive it with 150 to 200 watts switch the switch to 11 meter then you can talk. you dont have to drive it,but you can. hold it dead keyed then adjust the load to highest wattage then do the same with the tune. if its in good condition its worth about 450 it should do about 900 to 1200 watts depending on the driver |

There Is No Setting On The Amp For 11 Meters. I Have A Good Driver For It . My Small Amp Has 2 EL 519's And Should Be O.K. In Front Of It On Low Power. Someone Else Told Me That This Would Not Work Though Because The Heathkit Has No Key Up Circuit Or Relay. Any Suggestions ?? Thanks ! **8ZERO4** |

I think he meant run it on the 10 meter setting, it should tune up just fine. Without a relay I am assuming it uses a foot pedal. Is there a jack on the back for it? Usually an RCA jack. |

i would take it to your local cb teck and have a keying circut put in and forget about a foot petal, and he can also switch it for 11 meter |
