Anyone know why they stopped making these quad antennas??They seemed like a good sized, good gain antenna that didn't take up too make space. Also, anyone know where I could get one at a reasonable price as well? I await the news!! Cheers 739 An aussie in the US of A! Forum Master Note : You might want the consider the Maco Y-Quad.

I would guess lack of Sales & Interest. Antennas have come a long way since the PDL 2 was designed and first Made & Sold A good antenna for it's time but like a lot of other Radio Products they have come & gone. |

It is the american way, when they think the market is saturated, they move on. I think the PDL 2 is still a viable antenna, I used one for years, and found it to be a great antenna for limited space applications. Now they sell brand new on E-bay for twice what they sold when they were made. Wonder where they get all these new in the box antennas from, when they havent been made for years?? |

You got that right Peddler, those so called H.O.A.'s are downright unamerican as it gets. Pay all that money for a house and then some yearly or monthly HOA fee so some group of dorks can tell you how your going to live in your own house? Dumb. |
