I have a ranger 2950DX and when I turn it on the volume is low on the AM side, that with the volume all the way up. Can I fix it myseft or do I need to send it back to Copper to have it fix? Love this radio. |

Drthunder, If it's under warranty then you should send it to RCI, they will make it right. 73's |

If it is less than 2 years old it should still have factory warranty left!! |

Dr thunder, if not, send it to coppers they have a radio repair shop and good techs on hand to fix it right up. it sounds like the ic chip ta7222a might be bad. im not a tech just a hobbiest that works on my own radios when i can, but that's what it sounds like to me. |
