One of my Power Supplies is a Pyramid 46 (40amp). It's been working well and one of the features I like about it is the built-in fan to keep it cool. Well, I turned the fan off yesterday when I was cleaning the unit and radio. Today, it shut itself down when I was talking for a few minutes to someone DX'ing and using the 40 amps max for awhile. I checked the fuse, my circuit breaker, everything. Power was getting to it, but it wouldn't work. I was taking the screws out in order to remove the cover (alot of screws) when I decided to turn it on again and give it one more try. You guessed it. Works fine now!

Anybody know what the story is? Does this PS have a shutoff with timer or something?

Nevermind. I finally found the paperwork on this power supply. It has an automatic reset. Shuts itself down for a designated time, and then resets.
