i have a klv 350 and when i key up im doing 4 to 450 watts.but when the box is on and i key up my swr is pretty high.any ideas on what the problem might be or how to fix it.thanks guys for any help you can give me. |

Doeboy,I don't know all of the stuff you have in line,but I had a 300watt maco match box and they mean 300.With my boomer400 at 475 watts swr is high and it sounds like a mini-thunder storm going on inside,so took it out,have a 1.17 match without the match-box anyway,also had a problem with arcing in my a-99 with boomer,2000watts-phooey.Bigbob p.s.arcing can produce high swr and electro-magnetic plasma can make a long loaded antenna into a very short one. |
