I called sales today, and they wont stock the 4800 w/echo. I read a earlier post where you mentioned that you may be able to find some. Just curious about the price ? and are they new ? I do know of another source, but... Drop me some mail if you would, themerc64@hotmail.com Thanks |

TheMerc, Someone in sales must have screwed up because we had them in stock a week ago. They were on the last email special. Did you happen to get the name of the salesperson? http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/checkitout/checkitout.cgi?catalogSTORE:CKIE:prodE00-00006+ Forum Master |

Oh sure, now it just shows up on the web site too. I didn't get the gals name, but I got the impression since I was just checking price and availability on a item that was not listed yesterday on the web site, that I was given the brush off. Thank you Forummaster, I will check again with sales to make sure... |

307,I have a galaxy 66 that I would like to be able to control the volume of the talkback on.It has the switch in the back to turn it off and on.I tried puting a potentiometer in line with this switch, but it did nothing.I was wandering if you know if there is a way to make this feature variable.Thank you in advance. |

Budman, #1 ~ Disconnect the Power cord and Mic. #2 ~ Remove the Covers of the Radio. #3 ~ Find J2 ~ It is at the FRONT of the radio almost in the Center, Move the Jumper. #4 ~ Remove the Frequency Counter Module from the radio. #5 ~ Now you will see a 6 PIN Jumper Block Marked J29, Move the shorting block from it's current position to the back/right 2 Pins where the Red X's are marked below. 0XX 000 #6 ~ Re-install the Frequency Counter Module and put the Radio back together. Hope this help's. Lon Tech808
