okay!! techs!! i need help on this 1 driving 3 6lf6 amp.can i just take the driver tube out, and drive the amp with a 1 tube klv?or is there some ritural i have to do.how many watts can i expect from this amp with driver tube intact or with outside driver.it was given to me,and i know the tubes are expensive, but i want to try it anyway.it can at least be used as a driver for something bigger.or as a independent amp.the connection on the top of the driver tube(the wire with the diode on it)is burned off and it may be cheaper to just to use a driver(one tube) anyway let me know my opions,i don't live to far from 671 so maybe he can save it. 505 love country |

you mean the parasidic supressor is burnt up that goes to the cap on the tube? if so thats not a big deal it can be made from resisters and wire. |
