okay!! techs!! i need help on this 1 driving 3 6lf6 amp.can i just take the driver tube out, and drive the amp with a 1 tube klv?or is there some ritural i have to do.how many watts can i expect from this amp with driver tube intact or with outside driver.it was given to me,and i know the tubes are expensive, but i want to try it anyway.it can at least be used as a driver for something bigger.or as a independent amp.the connection on the top of the driver tube(the wire with the diode on it)is burned off and it may be cheaper to just to use a driver(one tube) anyway let me know my opions,i don't live to far from 671 so maybe he can save it. 505 love country

you mean the parasidic supressor is burnt up that goes to the cap on the tube?

if so thats not a big deal it can be made from resisters and wire.
