I am converting a GE Superbase model 3-5875a for ham use. Would like to open the clarifier a bit, and enable it for both transmit and receive. Is there a stable mod to accomplish this? |

Here goes... 1)Solder a wire on the unused side of the clarifier , the other end goes to the emitter of Q216 (9 volt source) 2)Cut R-221 3) Remove D-204 and replace with a jumper wire. 4)Cut R-205 |

How much does this give me? Also, do you know where I could get a Secret CB or other manual dealing with mods to this board as far as adding bands of channels? |
