I have been looking for a Pres. Grant for my Dad and it has just occured to me can the new Grant Classics be modified for 11 meter use?I'm sure they probably can but just thought I'd ask before I bought"a pig in a poke" and was stuck with it.

Yes they can. I don't know of any of todays 10 meter radios that can't be modifided to 11 meters other than the later produced Radio Shack HTX-10.
