Does anybody know how to recalibrate the swr meter? It shows the swr way higher than it really is.Also the s/rf meter seems to read right but it is really slow and sluggish getting there. Will turning the srew on the top of the meter make it work better?? |

Bman, sounds like the meter is old and worn out, you may be able to take it out and take it apart and tweek the metel inside (twist it back and fourth) you may get lucky and loosen it up then again you may break it all together! i have had pretty good luck with this but not all the time! if it does not work you'll have to get a new one either on ebay or electronis carries them!! good luck and 73's chris p.s. in my experinces with tweeking them do not push down on the metel tab inside it will lock it up and break it insted try twisting and maybe pulling up a very little bit! |
