I have a klv-1000 with my president lincoln hooked up to it. The problem that I am having is that my locals aroung me that know my voice are telling me that my audio sounds TIGHT with the box on and it doesnt matter if its on high, med or low I thought maybe the lincoln had to much dive on ssb. so I put my 148 gtl in line and it too does the same thing. I tried different mics from a 636 to a d-104 with no luck. I bought this box new about 1 1/2 years ago and replaced a tube in it a short while back I also get a littel buzz once and a while from the relay. thats about it I am at a loss on this one. any sugestions on what to do will be appreciated. You will sound "tight" if the locals are really local...Sounds like you need to back off the amplifier drive (bottom center below tune and load) a little... 307 |
