Frequency counter hums when transmitting.ALSO HUMS ON RECEIVE when volume is turned down real low.Radio is a voyage vr 9000.

In the Tech section here go to "Radios Mobile",

Then scroll down to the one By Tech307 that says,

"VR-9000 Buzzing Counter Fix"

He explains how to fix it for you.

An easier way is to go to the SEARCH area next to this column.

Click: By Keyword

type in " VR9000 "

When it comes up scroll down to bottom of page where you will see pages and click on Page #3.

It is Tech307's post dated July 29, 2001 READ this whole column as he posted an update to his first post in august.
