i need help getting more am mod out of mt 2600
i turned up the vr and have to keep my expender500 on 7 to get 100% out...... ssb is fine
any help would welcome thank u

Hope this will help. But remember....The HR-2600 was made for sideband. AM is a secondary mode for that radio. If you want loud audio on AM, get yourself something in the lines of a Galaxy. But for sideband, you have a good one.

I wonder if you have any mods for a Kenwood TS-530 for upper frequencys or bellow 28 Mhz.

kc0qxz it not a lot of mod in am im looking for
its just a ive had 2 lincons and all kind
of other radios and ive never had to turn my mic
up to 7 to get 100% mod i just put the mic on
3 or 4 and always got 100%........
it.... maybe i said it wrong in my first post
but ssb i have to turn my mic down to 3
and also if i put a d-104"stand up" i can turn
it all the way up and only get 30% mod out of radio....i hope this helps you more jeff
