YOU NEED TO HEAT UP THE TABS ON THE PILL, ON THE END OF THE TAB OR ON THE SIDE, WHERE THE SODER IS ON THE BOARD.TEMPATURE SOULD BE AROUND 500-600 OR 600-700 DEGREES QUICK TO THE TOUCH WITH KESTER SODER. YOU ALSOW NEED SOME DENTAL PICKS FROM RADIO SHACK,RADIO SHACK SHOULD HAVE, THIEM PLUS A GOOD TIP ON YOUR SODERING GUN. WHEN YOU HEAT UP THE SODER UNDER THE TAB USE ONE TO OF THOES PICKS L SHAPED, IS THE ONE I LIKE TO USE GENTLY PRY UP THE TAB, TO LIFT THE TAB OFF THE SODER. SOME PLACES ARE HARD TO GET TO DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU ARE WORKING ON BECAREFULL NOT TO BURN ANY WIRE OR PARTS ON THOES HARD TO GET TO PLACES, PLUS USE SODER WICK TO CLEAN UP THE SODER LEFT OVER FRM THE OLD PILL, SO WHEN YOU PUT NEW ONES BACK THEY SEAT BETTER WHEN YOU GO TO SODER THIEM BACK IN. HOPE THIS INFO HELPS.
