on the bottom of the Maverick 250 there are 2 of thease 100 MFD 50 V / TC3501C and i have no clue where i can get one ! Please i need some help finding this part so i can get it back to DX-ing!! Thanks !! ALLAGATOR |

www.tubesandmore.com is the web URL for Antique Electronic Supply. Also RF Parts and Westgate Electronics sell 450 Volt capacitors. You will have a harder time finding the 350 Volt. The higher voltage rating won't affect performance, and adds a little safety margin. A Maverick 250 should have a total of five of these underneath the tranformers, one set of two and one string of three in series. The set of two is for low side only. The set of three is for the high side. You should be able to run high side with the two low-side caps completely removed from the linear. The marking "TC3501C" is the catalog number for the manufacturer of the factory-original part, Mallory. They don't make that part any more, but lots of other capacitor brands still do. They just wont have a "TC" catalog number on them. 73 |

Thanks 2600 but my Maverick has the 2 on the low side but there is none on the high side!! but it dont have dthe rite tubes for the high side ???? i forgot to write the tube number down !!! |
