scooter, According to Ranger's website, both of these caps are the same. They have a value of 0.01uF 50WV. It is Ranger part #CC0501036S. You can view the manual and parts list at http://www.rangerusa.com/man295070dx.doc Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

I've got a mongoose 450 and I was wondering what mods or tweaks are out there for it. And if there are none, what would you recomend as a good cb for usb/lsb thats really powerful. and possibly an antenna that would work well. Also have a palomar 225 are there any adjustments that need to be made between the radio and amp. Thanks |

Hey, I've got a Bearcat 800 BCT 7, and I was wondering if anyone knew any mods for it or tweaks or anything I could do to get more channels or power. One last thing. I'm using a Hustler Mag for my scanner if anyone knows a better antenna that would be cool. Also about any Base Antennas I could get Thanks in advanced, Tim |

Tim, I couldn't find any mods for your radio. As far as the antenna for a scanner goes, use an antenna that matches the band you're listening to. For 33-50 MHz use a CB antenna For 155-170 MHz use a 2 meter ham antenna For 400 and up cellular antennas work okay I use an A-99 for my low band scanner reception at the base. I have plans for a VHF receive antenna if you would like it. Discone antennas work well for scanner use. Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |
