Is there an easy talkback install, that will not squeal on both speakers? Also is there a way to remove the center "notch" on the coarse clairfier? Thanx! |

Alot of radios come with a "notch" for the center slot on the coarse clarifier. This limits your ability to fine tune on the center frequency, even more so if the clarifier is unlocked. I have had this "notch" removed, but I no longer live near a service shop. How do they do it? I am positive they did not replace the control. |

The BEST talk back you can get dosen't require any modification to the radio....Just get another radio and set it underneath with nothing hooked to antenna and a set of ear phones pluged into the "extra" radio. A $10 E-Bay navaho works GREAT ! You can also use a hand held with ear phones..works just as well. This will give you TRUE talk back instead of just audio before it goes through the amp in your radio. |

THERE SHOULD BE A JACK RIGHT NEXT TO THE HEADPONE PLUG LABELED "AUX"! IF YOU PLUG AN EARPHONE INTO THAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HEAR YOURSELF JUST FINE!!! MY GOD LEAVE THE RADIO ALONE! YOU CAN'T GET THEM ANYMORE!!!!! |
