A friend of mine recently bought a texas star sweet sixteen brand new right out of the box from a local cb shop. It doesnt seem to work on 11 meters at all with a 100 watt driver. Does this need to be modified to run on 11 meters or do they come ready to go on 11 meters and there is something wrong with this one. If it needs modified could someone get me going in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The new TS amps do require modding, it should have been done by the shop that sold it.
