No the radio was on channel 22. 27.225. But the freq.counter on the radio say 29.480. When you go to sideband it is on 27.225, the freq.counter reads the right channel and you have tx and rx on sideband. But no tx or rx on am. Maybe that made sense, or maybe not. |

Oh ,Ok...The problem sounds as if the drive to the counter coming from the AM side of the oscillator is not enough to drive it. Try to adjust L-18 and see if it changes it... 307 |

No change. Well it will change the freq. only a little. But still no tx or rx. Any more ideals? May have to send it to you if you have time. thanks Paul |

Sounds like a screw driver in the wrong pot in the AM section and its not allowing the PLL to lock. I good a secret CB book on that one let me look. |

Does the TX light turn red during transmit? Does the "S" meter show signals? 307 |
