The frequency counter in my Cobra 2000 quit. Can the be fixed? Where could I get another one? Any ideas?

Very hard to fix because the main "chip" has been dis-continued. Although there are several other problems that may cause it , it is a repair shop job...(The CHIP is an TC-5032P) Other common "freq dead" fixes are replacing , FET501 and FET502.
