I recently went to the local Radio Shack to find some parts to fix a few radios I have and could not find anything I was looking for.If I had a problem with a cell phone it could be taken care of on the spot but there was no hope for me as I am looking for radio parts(Radio Shack?).My question is where do the Techs get thier parts such as Finals,Pots,Diodes and Resistors? |

RF Parts is way too expensive. Richardson carries all the solid state components without the big price tag. Westgate labs is another tube source. However, I don't have anything that uses those small tubes anymore. I go to Econco for tubes since they are not just rebuilding, but actually manufacturing new tubes now. |
