Does anyone know how and what to adjust for the delay for ssb.It won't stay keyed up long enough on ssb |

Its controlled by a cap, use a bigger uf rating try double what ever it is. |

I had one,there was no cap in that spot,it was not intended for ssb.You'd have to find the specific trace and add one,I could not so I traded for a shooting star 225,ssb no problem. |

Stepchild,the palomar 80 is a single transistor amp for am/ssb similar output to the mod-v,the 80 used to have an mrf455,I suspect they now use sd1446,should drive a 1200 or a 1600 no problem. |
