How is the performance of this amp, I thinking about buying one, what kind of watts(rms)will this amp do, and will 1 850cca battery and a small charger(10 or 15 amp) be enough to power this box?
I plan on running it in the house as a base box.

RMS depends greatly on the rms drive. With a typical 29 set at 2w carrier, it should do about 150w rms. Set your radio so the amp doesn't exceed 150w carrier on AM.
Don't know if your 15a charger will handle it or not. You may pick up distortion. Watch your voltage at the amp when you talk, if it falls below 13 it will likely get distorted. |
