Unless you get a lightning strike. Then you have to re-plumb your house.

Do you use a buss [common ground point] when grounding chassis or are they hooked one to another [daisy chain]?
The question about the water pipe. Is the water pipe connected to the main water supply for the area? Are all pipes in your house copper or metal?
Often there are plastic pipes used within the system and that would break any electrical connection you need.
Look where the main electrical panel is grounded. Your best bet is to run a multi strand copper wire from the buss to a ground rod driven 8' into the ground as close as possible to the radio equipment. That rod should then be connected to the house ground as well as the antenna ground.
Check all coax connectors for cleanliness and tightness.
Would need more information to be more specific. What area is affected; the TV, phone, VCR, etc?
Are you running power? Where is the antenna located in reference to power lines etc.
Fill in the blanks and will help where I can .

my whole house has new copper lines. as far as i know only neighbors tv is affected. my audio comes through.i am running a barefoot lincoln. my imax is on the roof about 35-40 feet up. the neighbors house is pretty close to mine maybe 20 feet from my house. the antenna is far from power lines ,1/4 of a block. radios are daisy chained together and go into a grounding block which is connected to the water pipe.

Twa77,

Hook each unit to the grounding block seperately. Not one to the next.
What type of antenna system do the neighbors run ie; Cable, roof mount, satellite, etc.? The power lines I referred to were to the house not on the street. Do you have a ground plane kit on your antenna? Did you check all connections?
What chanels are affected?
The copper pipe is as good as it gets for ground. Make certain the connection is tight.
Let me know what you find.
