it has an open clarifier and i know where the controls for tuning am, lsb, and usb are but i need to know with the clarifier in the noon position what numbers do i tune for using a frquency counter?example: on channel19 am:tune am: tune for 12xxx ,lsb :12xxx, usb:12xxx. follow me so far? thanks... |

AM. Dead key , no mod , 27.185
LSB , with 1kHz injection at the mic , 27.184
USB , with 1kHz injection at the mic , 27.186

thanks a million. 307, in your experience as a tech ,with a stock clarifier control how far up and down can i go with a 5.6 microhenry choke coil? im seriously considering going 20-25 kcs up@down with it. i know it would be touchy as heck, so i was just wondering. i may get a 10 turn pot instead of using the stock one.. let me know also please if a 10 turn pots still available from copper. thanks again |
