Does copper do the 11 meter mod to this radio? guess from what I read that this radio needs a special device to modify. also cause the radio has a 6-pin is it possible to change to a uniden 4-pin. or is that integrated into the board the 6 pin mic? thanks.

Thanks lon tech808,I looked, but the mic pin is from a cobra 4 pin to a ranger 6-pin. I need a ranger 6-pin to a uniden/cobra 4-pin, cause all I have in microphones are 4-pins uniden/cobra. well I take it that copper has the special kit to modify to 11 meters, hopefully wont be locked in 10 meters if I order it? I want to know the facts about the radio before shelling out the money and come to find out when I get it, its locked in 10 meters and the 6-pin cannot be converted. thanks again for the help I will check back to see whats up? |
