I HAVE A SUPER STAR 121 AND WANT TO OPEN UP THE MODULATION AND PEAK AND TUNE THE OUTPUT ON THE LOW AND HIGH SIDE.CAN YOU LIST THE AREAS I NEED TO DO THIS AT SUCH IF THERE IS A RESISTER TO CUT OUT FOR MODULATION AND LOCATION AND LOCATIONS OF POWER SUCH AS VR4 ETC.THANKS SONOMA! |

I HAVE THE SUPER STAR 121 AND DID NOT GET AN ANSWER FROM YOU FOR THE POWER MODS AND MODULATION.JUST WANTING TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON IT .PS I JUST RECEIVED YOUR NUMBER 9 VIDEO TAPE ON THE EAGLE SIDEWINDER 400 AND YOU HAD MENTIONED IN THE FORUM YOU HAD PUT A AMENDUM FOR THE NEW MOD FOR CONVERSION TO 400 CHANNELS ON THE PUSH ON CONECTOR NOT BEING THERE AS EVERYONE HAS BEEN TRING TO CONVERT WITHOUT THE PINS ON THE SMALL CIRCUIT BOARD.MY TAPE DID NOT SHOW THE NEW CONVERSION.HOPE YOU HAVE SOME IHFO ON THE SS121 FOR ME.THANKS SONOMA |

Sonoma, Wanna add a +10 KHz jump to that radio? Here's the info. This works with radios with the EPT120112Z board... On the component side of the board... 1) Unsolder J25 (jumper) 2) Solder a 4.7K 1/4 watt transistor in place of J25, and in then run a lead from leg of the newly installed transistor closest to J28 (the left) to one pole on a SPST toggle switch. 3) Solder another lead from the other pole on the SPST toggle to J27. That's it!
