I have a DX 949 I use as a base. The radio has been tuned and works great. According to the meter on the radio, it deadkeys on low power at 5 watts and deadkeys on high power at 14 watts. Since the meter does not function as a pwr meter on sideband, and I don't have an external power meter,can you approximate how many watts this puts out on sideband based on the above power readings on AM?
